Well, personally I think all the gun organizations have gone about this the wrong way. Considering they accomplished zero in taking the government to court. For starters I think it would have been better for all of our organizations to join forces and combine their resources and money. All these fragmented groups just a complete waste of time effort and money.

You can fight better as a large group then you can as small insignificant useless groups (Sorry really wasn't sure how to word that).

gbk there are many gun owners that are totally fine with what Trudeau has banned including some on this forum, as long as THEIR guns have not been banned and that is unfortunate, gun owners are their own worse enemy. There use to be members on here who supported the banning of handguns for target shooting and for the most part they got their wish. There are many out there (including people on here) that believe if the firearm looks military it is super powerful. Even the Liberals themselves think that. A quick look shows the 702 Plinkster Tactical 22 rim fire has been banned but the regular model has not been banned (my son has the regular model) same gun different stock.

At this point gbk my answer would be a resounding NO, unless Pierre Polievere gets elected, if Trudeau gets re-elected kiss all your semis good bye.

I am guessing you don't like facts.

Maybe if I keep pointing it out some people might see what is happening, but people like you who enjoy slamming fellow gun owners, are exactly why this battle will be lost. Gun owners REFUSE to SUPPORT each other, until it is to late.
I'm not slamming fellow gun owners, just slamming people who just keep telling me how right they are in their predictions. You just seem to be way to proud that what you suspected was going to happen is happening. I think most of us thought the same thing, we just don't keep repeating it.

    This I agree with fully.
Too many small gun groups is not the answer to our issues, especially when they sue each other and waste money that could be used for the fight.

If someone doesn't bring it up then nobody will do anything will they. Yes I was correct but I wish I had been wrong.

I also was the first on here to mention that when Harper ordered the gun registry destroyed I mentioned there would still be copies and any have wit IT guy could figure out how to download the data, many laughed and sadly I was right.

Some say the data is now useless and I disagree it can still be used as most people do not regularly sell or trade their firearms, which means the DB would still be some what accurate. The government and the RCMP could use it to harass gun owners and many would give in my bet is 90% would if the RCMP were knocking on their door.

I don't have that much money but I have sent a few dollars at the beginning but will not anymore as I feel it was just a waste.

There'll be another 3 years before that can happen. By then, barring a non-confidence motion and the government falls, this well be a "fait accompli" and the damage will be done.

I am trying in my head to put together a percentage that will not hand over their guns but I cannot just two many variables to deal with. I would like to think it could be as high as 90% with reasons why.

Most gun owners that do not follow anything about firearms they just like to hunt and or shoot. Remember those of us on these forums are probably less than .0001 % of all owners (yup pulled that number out of the air).

You have your hard core that will just keep them and say screw you.

Than you have your Liberals (IMHO) that will just hand them over.

I suspect the NDP will drop their Trudeau Love in within the next 18 months (I hope).

My biggest fear is Trudeau steps down and Freeland takes over. She would give Pierre Polivere a bigger run for his money. Why? Well IMO many are starting to fall tired of the continuous BS from Trudeau, Freeland would be a new face and it is well known she has a different opinion then Trudeau's on running the country (She will still go after guns, which is a Liberal pledge), she will also attract most of the swing votes because she is a woman (I call a spade a Spade). IMHO Pierre will have a much easier time of beating Trudeau then Freeland.

    But what do I know.

Freeland taking over for Trudeau is a non-starter from the get-go. She's too much of an idiot. The Liberals will need a rock star stature politician to pull this one out and there's just nobody, anywhere that will be able to salvage the brand and there isn't enough time to rebuild from the Trudeau fiasco. The federal train wreck is almost complete.

Well last night federal election in Mississauga/Lakeshore where the LIBERALS and Mr Sousa won with even MORE votes than the last time might prove your predictions to be a bit off.

The party of Law and Order put up a Police Officer and he got beat. (maybe nobody believes that Conservatives are the party of law and order
considering their leaders support for the Freedom Convoy Occupation of the Capital).

Not only is Freeland a very hard working and SMART lady but so is Mr Sousa a business leader who could also easily run the party.

But all guns will be banned within 30 years. I use to think 50 but the Liberal Government is moving much faster then I thought they would.

Back in the late 1990's Allan Rock admitted that the ultimate goal for the Liberal government was to eventually ban all firearms.
OK so you now predict 30 or maybe 50 years into the future, I think at most of our ages we will not be to worried about such long range forecasts. The fact that in the 1990,s Allan Rock made a statement that has not come close to being true after over 30 years punt's your
    predictions out the window. LOL

I would like nothing better than all these small groups banning together as one. One for all, all for one. When they all got up and started asking questions and kind of revolting, Trudeau called a halt and said he was going to re-vamp the list. This in my mind was a small victory and we should not be complacent and as a whole should keep the pressure on. Right now he's somewhat behind the eight ball, and if we continue the onslaught he might even scratch...
