It's absolutely in-your-face. There's no "spinning" it or re-hab-ing the statements,so take your pick.

After watching Minister Medicino on the telly CBC at 5pm it appears he might be getting the message. I emailed both him and cc Billy Blair and also wrote to my local MP Fonseca.
If this legislation goes through I believe it will be an election loser for the Liberals. Its a Bridge to Far and will put off many Liberal hunters who will be affected, very many of which live in the vote rich 905 area.
If this legislation is not walked back they will suffer and I indicated this very firmly in my e mails to all three.
Although they want to appear sincere in their wishes to control gun violence, as we all do, I believe they are inept and really do not appear to know one firearm from the next and you get this resultant mess.
Lets hope the penny drops in the next few weeks, I am sure they are getting it in the neck right now from all corners.

This a cabinet minister talking about the legislation. It is astonishing how little she knows about guns despite claiming to own them and even less about her party's own legislation.

No challenge-but how going after legal firearm owners, and guns based on looks and action(and not going against gun violence, root cause and gun smuggling)makes their desire looking sincere?
I heard this approach few days ago-in a context, where they claim-if one is not supporting this new brainchild of Ottawa, then they are supporting gun violence.
Divide and rule or talk about something long enough and loud enough,so the ppl believe, it is a fact.
Same as accusing that Hockey player of him not having sympathy for the Montreal massacre victims (from many years ago)by talking against the new proposal.
Hardcore Communist could learn from some, how to twist and turn words.

And this is exactly why Guns will eventually be completely banned.

Is there a core relation between those countries and Canada? I'm sure there is.
I agree we all should be standing up for each other and protecting all firearms from all legal gun owners.

Strength in numbers is a self-evident truth but if more of your effort is spent on cajoling possible participants to support your cause than on advancing it then it's not the best strategy.
