Doubled with the apprentice
It looks like the apprentice will soon be teaching me a few things.
He went out and picked up this farm about 2 weeks ago.
He invited me along to show me the land and to help with the setup.
We got to the farm and were setup by 4:45......
We started off with a dying rabbit sound and after 3 minutes the first coyote comes out. I wolf him at about the 70 yd mark and the apprentice takes the shot and it drops like a sack of potatoes. (70 yd frontal shot)
I play pup distress for a bit and then shut it down for a while
We give a few fist pumps and wait about 5 minutes before I start the caller up again.
Dying rabbit brings the next one in after 5 minutes of starting the caller again. Now it's my turn to shoot, I let it come into the 50 yd mark before I WOLF it to stop. My guy did a couple spins and drops.
Two good size coyotes, his was a female, mine a male.
Good way to start a new property.

nice hunt, you make it sound easy. I'm sure the farmer appreciates it. Frank, you do a lot of yote hunting, do you normally provide the farmer with updates, are they normally interested in hearing about it and if you are successful or not? I assume they give you permission because they have trouble with them around the farm?

Congratulations both of you

Most farmers like to be updated about my adventures/outings some right away, most when I stop in for a chat, and yes, most farmers give me the okay because they don't want too many of them around, that and they like me
.
Merry Christmas

Great work Frank. Congrats to both of you.
