    Didn’t have time to go for a bow this evening but did have 15 minutes for a walk with the shotgun. Thankfully this time of year the habit is a more specific area so it’s not hard to find them. Hunted where field meats hawthorns, then aspen, then small spruce. Walked where the aspen hit the spruce and this guy was under the dead fall with some friends. Shot him and his friends flew off. Saw where they landed but let them go, we’ll meet again. In all saw 5 including this guy. His crop was loaded with the same little buds as Ihunts grouse. Can’t add pics for some reason, will try later.
    They say the only good wolf is a dead wolf, If that’s the case than I’ve reformed many a wolf.

    nice, congrats on the quick hunt and leaving the others for another day, lol. Aspen and conifer mix usually does the trick for us to.
