Ice has been safe for several weeks but I haven’t found the time to get out yet. Wanted to go for trout, but I was outvoted to go south to fish for perch. Glad we did, ended the day with 38 perch, a bluegill, and a crappie. Perch weren’t massive, but were a nice size (8-10 inches). Threw back hundreds of small perch and pumpkinseeds.
They say the only good wolf is a dead wolf, If that’s the case than I’ve reformed many a wolf.

Well done how far south did you go, don't need to know lake just general area

Kawartha highlands, towards the south end. Ice was great, here it’s good in most of the Kawartha’s even further south.

Ya great eaters, crappie was a cool bonus cuz we didn’t know they had them in that lake.
