Is this a small game?
It has been this week.
Killing rats all week.
Our neighbour seldom puts out his garbage , and his place looks like a junk yard inside and out. As a result, he has many rats and we now have many rats at our bird feeder area. Managed to trap 3 so far and one or two more to go. Don't want any Spring babies.
Saw a video about trapping rats ; one camera shot showed the rat getting a stick and setting off the trap with the stick and then enjoying dinner. They aren't stupid.
Now where is that Jack Russell I used to have ?

childhood memories of sitting in the barn waiting for the mice and rats to stick their heads out of holes and popping them with the pellet gun. Yup can always make it a game a little harder within city limits though.

Hunting is hunting. Dad and I did the .177 on mice back in the 60's in Parkdale.

Call your area Township or Municipal office and let them know. We had one start a junkyard and it didn't take but a few complaints for the Township to get on his case, especially when it comes to rats and the diseases they carry.

It's in the city. I've called the bylaw officer several times. They clean up and then it goes right back to where it was. These are also dangerous people- been in prison.

I’ve seen some very innovative rat traps on YouTube that you might check out. Set them up and get a half-barrel of water ready.
