    Default Rain Snow Coyote

Left the house this morning with light snow falling and not much wind. Got to the farm at legal light and the snow started to change to rain. The snow on the ground and damp conditions really absorb the sound, so much so that at one point 10 minutes in walked over to the caller to see if it was working okay.
Anyway, stayed on stand for about 35 minutes before I spot this coyote over my left shoulder behind me coming across a field about 450 yds out. She kept coming, crossed the drainage ditch I was laying in and stopped about 130yds out quartering toward me. She seemed hesitant to commit so I zoomed up the scope a bit before resting the crosshairs on her chest. At the sound (which seemed muffled by the damp conditions) she dropped in her tracks.
