Just more misleading information from our own government.

Can't really blame the government. People want a solution and the government will always go after the low hanging fruit too show they've done something without actually doing anything. Its up to the opposition to provide alternative options, arguments and solutions. Instead of arguing an emphatic no to bans submitting cost benefit analysis too the government plan and proposing a plan of the own might give the public cause to consider their options. At the moment we have two sides back and forthing ban /no ban with nothing improving for anyone.

Note this was conducted in primarily Liberal Party strongholds, yet, they had this result and still posted it. Strange,eh?

I think it was a highly politicised video with a Citizen standing under a "HUNTER RIVER SIGN" at 3.50 minutes from Charlottetown. He,he.
Good video and shows the true transparency of the Liberal party of Canada.

It is our government pushing the idea that if we take our guns away then the crime will go down. When in reality smuggled guns are the primary cause of the problems. The doctors pleaded and said they were tired of fixing up bullet wounds. Our ban will stop 1 in 5 shootings. That's the reality.
The public is misinformed

Like I said already a lot of the public are gun educated via action movies and/or the atrocities of war going on in the world by watching the news. True ... firearms were developed as a military weapon but quickly found useful in obtaining food and of course protection from predators and proved invaluable in the making of our nation. We have advanced our game laws and gun laws as it was needed and have a very good safety record as far as accidental shootings go. So if we don't speak up now and educate the public properly instead of letting those with the glassy eyes scream into the cameras that all guns are evil and must be destroyed we will be sowing our own defeat. We should keep in mind that many new Canadians are here because someone pointed a gun at them but let us not dismiss the criminal element that flaunts our weak laws regarding their use of such. Most reasonable people would agree it's only fair to punish the guilty and not the innocent.

The average citizen doesn’t have the attention span, time, energy, patience, and desire to learn much of anything about critical issues - including firearms. For these reasons, people are easily manipulated… all it takes is a sound bite or a slick 30 second commercial to sway public opinion.

Mmmmmmmm ? Both the Fed's (Liberal) and the Provincial ( PC's) agreed on the health care strategy to safeguard it's citizens. I never use to get Flu shots until my first year of retirement approx. 6 years ago when I had it at Xmas time. I do not want to go through that Hell again if I can help it ! Now I get whatever shot will give me an edge over not getting sick and frankly... if more people washed their hands and wore masks during Flu season the better !
Ooooops ! Straying from OP. Like I said ; Lock up the bad guys and throw away the key !
