"It’s been an honour to write for OOD readers all these years," Senior Editor Gord Ellis writes. "I plan to be here for your grandkids, too."
What can I but enumerate old themes,
First that sea-rider Oisin led by the nose
Through three enchanted islands, allegorical dreams,
Vain gaiety, vain battle, vain repose,
Themes of the embittered heart, or so it seems.

Its to bad that over the years we have lost all the old outdoor writers that wrote articles for National papers. Many on hunting which normalized the sport and probably got a lot of folks into hunting and fishing.

I've been on here 15 years , but don't expect to make it to 30.
