If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

By the looks of it, moose active hunter numbers are going down since 2019 as general trend

The report is a nice to have and pretty much no more then a "curiosity "document.

If one is to guess what is the Archery vs Gun harvest / Participation numbers in each of them-then we would just need to figure out ,if these numbers include Outfitters too.........

We just need to look at Quebec report-and see ,it is easily done(even with a whole lot more hunters/moose harvested.)

    ............Interesting data:
#1 In addition to the values presented, during 2006-2017 there was an estimated annual average of approximately 6,400 active resident hunters across the province who did not apply for an adult validation tag.
#2 In addition to the values presented, during 2006-2018 an estimated annual average of approximately 160 calf moose were harvested each year across the province by resident hunters who did not apply for an adult validation tag.

    Same report-supporting files.

Wow look at the difference from 2006 to 2022 it is staggering.

At this rate Moose hunting will surely be a thing of the past in the not-so-distant future...
