Default Tri Tronics Sport 80C collar battery replacement ?

    Hi everyone !

I was recently given a male 11 month old Chocolate Lab and also a older Tri-Tronics Sport 80 C training collar and after trying to charge the collar I get nothing and Yes I did charge for at least 12 hours. I opened up the collar to find what I presume to be the original battery from Tri-Tronics p/n 1038100-F. It looks like 3 AAA's wrapped together in shrink plastic with wire leads and connector attached to it. The best info I found online says it's 3.6 volts and 750 mah NiMH. It also appears that Garmin bought out Tri Tronics but no longer service or sell replacement parts.

Where do I go in Southern Ontario to find a replacement battery ?

I have a love/hate thing when it comes to technology. While you have a "almost free" wealth of info at your fingertips aside from third parties selling you company manuals and never have to leave home to shop for anything I am old fashion in nature and prefer interacting with real people. Hence I'm looking for a store to go to.

Thanks Bo D for replying ! I did see the Amazon listing and sent an email to Cdn Gun Dog Supply . The Batteries Plus looked interesting but don't appear to have stores in Canada... ?

Not Canada but you could try collar clinic. They're great.

Collar Clinic are great to deal with, but if yo can get an identifier off that battery pack, they are typically available on Amazon and easily replaced if you are handy. I have done a few.
