Speed spinning for muskie
https://oodmag.com/speed-spinning-for-muskie/
Very few things in muskie fishing are set in stone. However, high-speed fishing, especially trolling, works.
What can I but enumerate old themes,
First that sea-rider Oisin led by the nose
Through three enchanted islands, allegorical dreams,
Vain gaiety, vain battle, vain repose,
Themes of the embittered heart, or so it seems.
-- "The Circus Animals’ Desertion" by William Butler Yeats

Good read! The Sea-run Brook Trout on Cape Breton Island are chasers as well. There is no slow fishing or bait fishing for them.

I like articles like this, especially, from JP Bushey. He re-affirms what I learned as a youngster Musky fishing with my Dad. I like to use Lake Trout trolling gear with 30lb test braided line and spinners. I've caught quite a few Muskies over the years, but, none were "keepers". Someday, maybe,I'll land a once-in-a-lifetime trophy.
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....
