If you saw them, I must be wrong.

Just because others are doing it doesn't make it right. Don't deer hunt so didn't check the handbook. The range didn't look closed off.

Yes just because they were target shooting doesn't mean they knew. The sign might have been torn down just like my situation yesterday.

In my case because I knew, I felt I had to tell they fella and his daughter what the name of the game was here for target shooting. I would have felt pretty bad if the Ottawa swat team showed up and yes that happened to someone (not me).

So if you know target shooting is banned someplace and you see someone target shooting let them know as they might not be aware for various reasons.

Next thing you know Anti's will be using this for ammunition (pun intended).

I am lucky enough to have a 50 acre backyard to use and my neighbours across the road use their property (75 acres ? ) all the time but we are out in the country on private property but recently there have been reports of target shooting in Norfolk County getting out of hand but I need to research that some more as details were lacking. Needless to say we do due diligence and check our area beforehand and use backstops.
Good Luck & Good Hunting !
