Family Friendly Fishing Getaways

Hey Folks,

Looking for recommendations for a summer drive-to fishing lodge that’s family friendly. Ideally would be less than 5 hour drive from Ottawa, so somewhere in eastern Ontario or Quebec. Wish list would include fishing rights, access to boats or canoes, self-sufficient cabins (i.e. kitchen), near-by trails for walks/hiking, and areas for kids to play/explore/swim. Pet friendly would be a bonus.

Try Camps Bay Resort on Big Gull Lake not to far from Ottawa
good wallye, bass and pike fishing also couple of good pot hole lakes on the north west side you have to portage to but full of wallye and bass
