A friend and I flew back with a couple of hogs each, butchered and frozen, no problems at all.
Gun control:Criminals who ignore laws against rape, torture, kidnapping, theft, and murder, will obey a law that prohibits them from owning a firearm while disarming decent people from having access to firearms to deter criminals.

Stick to butchered meat and you should have no problem.
As soon as you get into blood, guts, brains, spinal column you are asking for trouble.
I have brought several hundred pounds of venison, ducks and pheasant meat back over the last 10 years without an issue.

Anybody tried it before ? Is the head gonna be allowed in with brains in it . Nilgai do not ,cannot carry cwd. I’ve brought turkey meat back in no problem but this is gonna be 150-200 lbs of meat . Driving it back myself , so no freight company involved . I’m hunting Oscillated turkey in a few weeks , that was a straight forward NO WAY IN HELL from the government , because of Newcastle disease.
My guess is that the MNR will consider nilgai a cervid, so no brain, guts, spine, etc.

Finally got an answer , you can bring back as long as butchered and for personal consumption. No head for nilgai or hogs . No fur or hooves

Any idea what you’d have to do with an animal you intend to do a shoulder mount with ?

I think no tissue on the skull, like zero.
Or-taxidermist mount completed in the country of harvest-then shipped to Canada .
Check the regulations though...armchair lawyer's advice placed more then one person in the wrong spot.
