When governments are putting sanctions before its people it increases the cost of living and more taxes for said sanctioning reasons. Ps those sanctions didn't work. The Russian economy is set grow more than some so called western countries. Is it working nope.

I have given some thought to that question, and I have come to the conclusion the that the primary function of war is to serve as a means of bring world population numbers in balance with the world's available resources. What the world current labors under is a surplus of population which is eating into the world's available levels of non- renewable and renewable resources. This in turn is imposing a threat to the future survival of our specie. Seemingly our political managers have determine the best was of dealing with the human surplus is to reduce it through WAR, which our past history has proven to work. Heaven forbid that they attempt to manage population numbers by imposing some degree of procreation levels to bring things back into balance. Who would stand for such nonsense? Better to let bombing civilian and the battlefields deal with the surplus. If you survive you get to breed unregulated.

I've heard people talking about WWIII since the Cuban Missile Crisis. Anyone else old enough to remember watching "Duck and Cover" in class? I came to the conclusion while huddled under my grade school desk during an air raid drill that there wasn't much I could do to prevent it from happening and feel the same way today. I save my concerns for the things I can change not the ones I can't.

Thousands of people are doing exactly that,again. With modern electronic technology,reception from an FTA system is just as good as,if not better than,cable or satellite and Justin Trudeau's CRTC censorship bureaucrats can't do a damn thing about it,either. My parents had a business building FTA systems when I was in high school. Guess whose job it was to install the color heads and rotors on the 60' self support towers? You wouldn't believe how sorely tempted I've been to re-boot the business ( I may have posted this some place before).

No, not new, but rather revisiting and exploring other possible options, as opposed to fighting world wars, in order to deal with the current crisis of world over population. A crisis, which if left unchecked could well serve to increase the strain on our planet’s resources, and progressively take us down a road to eventual extinction. I don’t exactly have much hope that our exploration of space is likely to be fruitful in coming up with another planet over which to spread our human biomass.

The reason I think we’ll see war with China soon, is they have a closing window for world dominance. Because of years of one child policy they are seeing a steep decline in population, especially working and fighting age men and women. They feel they have to act soon while they still think they hold enough cards.
