my boats ready to go also, may 1st ill dock it on north side of simcoe, till it warms up enough to go back downtown.

may first whitefish were caught trolling. Got to really lighten up line/rod/release. Most jig for them now though. Have a look, I never tried shallow though

Dan... I would love to hear how you made out on the river ... I am hoping to get there again this year between mid April and mid May... Fratri .. good luck on Lake O... I am usually out there as well at this time of year but I'm still up north and not sure when I'll be back in Burlington ..we still have a fair bit of snow in Muskoka ... please give us a report

Unfortunately for us up near Sudbury it will be quite a while before the lakes open up and the snow is gone.. But getting excited to pick up my first boat and get everything installed in it! 2 weeks to go!

Unfortunately I didnt go brand new.. Found a used 05 Legend Xcalibur 18ft with 90HP merc. Great price but had water log issues as outlined in another post in the forum..
Long story short she was rebuilt from the hull up by Legend in Sudbury and I'm still happy with the price I paid.
But when I pick it up I have to install all the goodies I bought for it while waiting all winter..

If you are asking me....
2022 Tracker ProV175 with a Mercury 115 main and 9.9 kicker.... It is wide and deep.... It handles very well. So far very happy with it....

Nice boats guys.... Winterfisher.. I do remember your post regarding the leak last year....good that it has been completely fixed and Fratri I saw you a couple times at LaSalle with your old boat.. I ll be watching for you in that new Tracker this season
