Garmin GPSMap 66i

I wander and can get lost from time to time. What better way to keep me on track than by testing the Garmin GPSMap 66i.
What can I but enumerate old themes,
First that sea-rider Oisin led by the nose
Through three enchanted islands, allegorical dreams,
Vain gaiety, vain battle, vain repose,
Themes of the embittered heart, or so it seems.

yup always carry my gps when hunting. Surprising how easy it is to get turned around when the dogs are on the hunt and birds are flying. Always brings me back to the jeep and I never have to ask who moved it when its not where I "thought" I left it.

A GPS is a nice tool to use but don't rely on anything that takes batteries as a sole means of navigation, a compass is more reliable and should always be carried as a backup.

I carry mine any time I'm on the ice or in a large bush, but I always carry a compass and know the direction I need to go to get back to at least the road.
