    Hi all

Thank you for all the responses, I appreciate the comments and links to resources. What I can tell for sure is that there is a fair amount of research I need to do before I begin.

I don’t mean to come across as a jerk but I’m so thankful that I live up north and don’t have to worry about where to shoot and notifying the police etc.

I’m born and raised in wmu22 and have seen a lot of “Cowboys” up here too. Not saying OP is, but common sense is needed always.

    Good point!
I’m a long time member at our local range but I still built a nice range on my property. Nothing like having your morning coffee while shooting a few rounds.
I’m sure it’s simpler here but you need to make sure it’s allowed, safe and be respectful of other people. If I see someone fishing on the lake or camped on the Crown land at the other end of the lake I refrain from shooting.
I usually do my serious shooting on rainy days in early spring or late fall when no one is around.
