I did my picture with my camera and didn't even bother to resize. However if you want to get your pic done at a store, Shoppers drug store can do it and if they don't know what a PAL is tell them to look in their book it's in there and tell them it's similar to the PAS port photo just a different size. We did my son's at Shoppers.

So my 1 year old card starting wearing out from being in my wallet, I called the RCMP if I could buy a replacement card and they sent me a new one for free.Looks nicer then the old one.

Got a letter in the mail today from RCMP. They said the cost for renewal was $64 and change not $60 as the forms I picked up and filled out clearly stated. As I sent a cheque, I have to resend another $4+ to get my form processed. Hopefully it goes just as quickly.

I gave my self 6 months and needed 7. I was into the "grace period" when I got mine.

I've decided this is the way to go. Order a couple of duplicate out of Doors cards and Firearms licences to keep in your gear so you never forget them when you go out. I don't like having to chase down the paperwork when I'm shifting between the range, hunting and fishing.

Not sure if your supposed have duplicates.
I always keep my fishing license with my gear that come every time. I'm sure the same could be done with your hunting gear. Keep it with your ammo or a bag that's always with you that will be on the range and the field.
