Here is the grouse and woodcock mount I just got back from Advanced Taxidermy.

Those are beautiful! Especially like the woodcock.

Good looking mounts however (and I know there's always an armchair critic) the grouse mount strikes me as odd looking maybe not a realistic pose?

I think it’s just the angle of the photo. The pose is exactly the one they make after a missed shoot. Slightly turn their heads towards you and crack a little smile.

BEAUTIFUL mounts!!!
I've seen the "smile" hundreds of times myself. (;~D
If I ever get a mount done like those, I will have to stay home full time and look at them, dust them, and look at them some more!

Very nice mounts, Advance has done all my mounts and no complaints
