Powder Order Delay

I ordered powder for a older friend of mine who isn't exactly computer savvy who had been looking for it for 2-3 years. Anyway I was on an email list and was notified when it came back in stock. Sent EMT for payment, waited a week for shipping confirmation and nothing. So sent them an email and they were quick to reply saying they are having issues with their shipping provider(purolator) wanting to ship dangerous goods now and hope its resolved shortly. What is an appropriate amount of time to wait before cancelling the order and getting my money back? This is the first time I've dealt with this particular business in Calgary. Is anyone else having similar problems? I don't really want to cancel it considering how long my buddy has been waiting to find some.

I had ordered from Higginson a week ago and received the powder the next day. You may wish to check with that establishment if they have the product you seek in stock.

Looks like I may be SOL. Tried to contact them again about my order and noticed there isn't a phone number on their website. For anyone looking for powder stay away from Western Metal in Calgary. I will update if anything changes going forward.
