Shot and ate a few, problem is there are very few up here. I I can get the pics to work I’ll post one I got with my Henry 22.
They say the only good wolf is a dead wolf, If that’s the case than I’ve reformed many a wolf.

I think it is closed in most if not all WMU so you just might have to wait until next year.... It is fun though

they are a lot harder to get then you would think, takes a lot of patience. and it is closes on December 31 or sooner in some areas I believe.

Remember Grey,Black and Fox only, no red as they are fur bearers, unless they are causing damage.

I specifically hunt for squirrels and it’s one of my favourite hunts. Only got into squirrels seriously about 5 years ago. Growing up in Northern Ontario we had no season (red squirrels are not a game animal in ON) Now that I live in the south it’s some of the best hunting in town. And yes, I enjoy eating them too!

Cook them like rabbit! Stew is good. They are quite tasty, but I don't touch'em. I prefer bugs bunny.

Its how I started hunting and is still one of my favourite time killer hunts. Just step out to the local woods and turn your eyes up. As others have said it's not always the easiest hunt they are small and fast, and once they know your tracking them they like to vanish in the tree tops
