Modifications/Accessories for Mobile Stand
Recently picked up a Summit Goliath climber - I know there are a few in the forum that use mobile stands.
Wanted to hear any modifications or accessories you've added to your mobile tree stand which you'd recommend

Not the stand but the strap around the tree that connects to your safety harness was replaced by a section of climbing rope girth hitched around the tree and add a prussic loop to control the tension (both ends of the main rope get attached to your beaner with figure eight knots). Its makes moving your tether up and down the tree much quicker as there is no clamp to undo each time. For extra safety I take enough main line to repell down if I get stuck, this happened one time during an ice storm and the ice built up on the tree after I climbed up.
Also, do not remove the short section of rope between the upper and lower sections of your climber, this rope prevents the lower section from decending down the tree if you knock it the wrong way.

As Marker mentioned, a rope style tree strap is top of the list for mobile stands. I bought the HSS one years ago instead of making my own.

Folding saw, hangers, and a hoist rope are the other must haves. For the stand itself, i'll stealth strip all the metal to metal contact areas to get it as quiet as possible.
Also, if you're new to these, practice a few times at home before trying to do it in the dark on your first hunts. You will get better, faster, quieter, and more efficient with every climb.
