Peaches ripe and lots of them - tomatoes, beans, squash, red beets, corn, cabbage, broccoli, peppers all available in the garden - great eating time - won't be long and the early apples will be ready - such a blessing - nice time of the year -

I absolutely agree…harvest time is a great time to get the family together and share in the bounty, make preserves and enjoy.

    Just perfect.

My wife posted a platter from the garden with carrots, beans ,chard and zucchini the other day. Been giving away lots this year tomatoes, zucchini ,cucumber and lettuce taking everything into work to share .

Made lots of zucchini muffins on Sunday 32 jumbo muffins along with 2 loafs

I've had so many days of picking but if does feel great to have a variety of vegetables daily picked daily just as your prepping dinner. Got some hot banana pepper ready the non hot ones will be ready for pickled peppers next week .

Already planning next season as the planning and plotting never stops when you have over 800 Sq ft of garden. Will also open up some more I think need an area to put and keep lettuce on a continuous level and plant at least 10 every 2 weeks until the end. Gone through almost 30 heads already and ran out of room lol.

    Cheers happy harvesting.

My fresh favourites: yellow beans, peaches, corn on the cob, and tomatoes.

The garden took a beating from a large hail storm on Saturday. Lost at least 2 dozen tomatoes, the plants themselves lost almost half the tops ending production as most of the suckers had already been picked off.

Cucumber is thinned out still loosing some as the the main stems still have a piece attached. Lots of Cucumber damage smaller ones broken in half the newer ones all turned yellow and production is halted till it fixes itself from the damage.

Peppers about 25% suffering Branch loss holes in peppers most of the newer flowers are gone. Had a pepper meal that night a pan full of poppers lol.

The beans took a small hit the zucchini I took 4 or 5 off with damage and thinned them out again.

Who knew the damage of golf ball size or bigger hail lol.
