Was working with a buddy cutting some danger trees on the weekend, filled the old Suburban up from a quarter tank. At 170 she stopped. Good thing the tree jobs pay lol. Good reminder that Liberal policies cost.

A buddy of mine just got back from the east coast visiting his parents. Gas was $1.80 a litre. Do the math, $8.19 a gal

I'm not as old as Joe. I was paying 32 cents per Imperial gallon when I started driving.

I miss my suburban, but with the fuel consumption going to the US pre-covid it was more cost effective to buy a diesel, I can recall days when I swear I could see the gas needle dropping as I drove. Now with the recent diesel prices not dropping in the summer it became more cost effective to buy an EV. I still miss my suburban, it was so comfortable on the highway with the captains seats and air suspension.

I love that baby, she’s at 420,000 and still going’s strong. She does eat gas though.

Supposedly more cuts to barrels per day and extending the already cut production soon. Expect more hikes in the future, then again in the spring from our own tax hikes.
