well I'm going to go out in the morning as long as I'm feeling better and not coughing my lungs out. so loaded up the block and went to the property I hunt. Set it up from 20yd to 40yd. So bottom was 20yd, mid was 30yd and top was 40yds. I practice the same I would be shooting so no rest.

this one I was just trying shots with the wrong pin, so the one that looks white was shot from 40yd with 30 pin, at the top target that would be a big miss. the one with yellow was from 30yd with 20 pin, at the middle target would still be a good hit, the one that is in the middle target is from 10yd with 20 pin

Nice to know where it’s hitting. Sure helps knock them down.

Looking good, whatever that sickness is going around these days really seems to cling on I'm 2 weeks with the occasional coughing spell. I recommend honey bourbon it works miracles.

I have my target set up so I can shoot while I BBQ. Not heading out for a bit yet. I like the cooler weather.

wife tested pos for COVID and was down for 10 days she goes back to work on Tuesday. I tested myself friday and was neg, then 3 hours later I was sick. Oh well I won't be getting close to anyone. I should have turned my practice day into a hunting day. At 618 tonight a deer tripped off the camera, not good enough of a picture to see much other than it a deer.

That's too bad, we were negative but seems like there's enough other stuff going around. Nothing like isolating yourself in the outdoors, best of luck.

Looking at your target I beleive those are field points you are using, you may need to follow up your initial sight-in with broadhead testing, they may fly differently.

I have used broad heads a few times, they fly the same. but you are correct I am using target heads as it a lot easier on the butt.

Just got over my 3rd time having covid. Wasn't too bad this time. Mostly in my head and throat with minimal coughing.. This is getting old.

    Any-who good shooting.

I start my 2023 deer season this weekend. Too dam hot at 80degrees here to even think about arrowing a deer this week.

I'm in a meat crisis no Bear or deer left in the freezer so I'm in full predator mode....

Too warm here to. I've been ready to go with the crossbow but not interested when its above 30 degrees. I arrowed a small buck a half dozen years ago during a heat wave. Still remember saying to myself why am I doing this, sitting in my tree stand after Thanksgiving dinner with the meat sweats. Worked out well though, he tore across the field and dropped before getting to the bush, never had to walk off the pumpkin pie.
