Anyone familiar with "the Sag"? (memesagamesing lake)

Hey folks,

heading to Matthew's Little Portage on memesagamesing lake Oct 13-15. We are hoping to get in some fishing but also hunting (grouse, maybe deer). Apparently they have deer stands set up on trails so if it's super cold we could opt to sit in a stand instead of fish...and you never know...

as for fishing (which is my main reason for going there) what should we expect? I've heard that it can be a tough go, and that it's a life bait fishery mainly.. not sure how accurate this info is. Any tips would be gladly appreciated.
