Where to go duck hunting?

Hi all,

I know this has been asked many times. Can anybody help me with a place near Ottawa to go duck hunting? Somewhere with shallow water. I want to walk in to retrieve my ducks. I am very new to hunting no one around me hunts. Just trying to find a place to get started and not trespass. I have been using the crown land atlas as best as I can. Not looking for your best spots. Just somewhere I can get out and try my luck and not disturb someone or break any laws because I am not experienced. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks

Have you tried reaching out to local fish and game associations? They're usually quite eager to assist new hunters in getting started. Welcome to the forum.

Thank you all for the help. I have been able to obtain some permission to hunt private land.
