Elders in treestand
Just curious, how many hunters in their 60s are using a compound in a treestand?

I'm closer to 70 than 60 and still hunt from a tree stand but I went to the dark side 10 years ago and shoot a crossbow. TC

Isn't 60 and up a senior?
I'm in the midst of the 60s.
I'm still using a compound, but sometimes struggle if my arms don't cooperate. Thinking crossbow is in the near future.

I agree senior is what I am, elder is someone much older than me. I have a really bad back so keep my butt on the ground, with a crossbow. I do wish I could go up a tree once and awhile, but don't do it.

54 here and train with weights and cardio in the off season to keep my weight in check and strength up.
Treat your body well and it will carry you through the golden years...

I will be 69 in December and still hunt with compound from a tree stand like belleriver said keep in shape, do a bit of weight training and you should be good to go for awhile, I also use a cross bow when i feel like it to.
