It's coming
Small lakes and ponds are icing over in my neck of the woods (Nipissing Village):
Taken yesterday afternoon. Today was thicker with the tiniest skiff of snow on top. -10 right now outside my kitchen window (1030pm) heading to -13 overnight. Below freezing forecast for next 14 days.
The wilderness is not a stadium where I satisfy my ambition to achieve, it is the cathedral where I worship.

Hopefully it's a good early start to the season. Currently minus 7 around lake simcoe. Noticed last week that some ice was building up as it was later in the morning and shoreline had ice on it.
