    Default Grouse hunt

    Spent 3.5 hours walking through a Southern Ontario public land property, flushed/heard 8 birds in total, not many presented a shot but managed to drop two. Good day to be in the woods!

    2 birds is quite the accomplishment when you bush whack alone. Enjoy the meal.

    Very nice! No idea where in S. Ontario but man that clover still looks pretty green in your pics.

    yeah I'd certainly be happy with 2 birds and being out in the bush getting some fresh air

    Nice birds congrats, the southern grouse should be considered a subspecies

    Congrats, like Tom Gobble said southern Ontario grouse hard to come by and even harder to shoot
