I'd say that's an awesome day afield. Great photo, good looking pair of dogs and I doubt if I shot that many grouse this past season. Well done all around...

Mother of God if you found a spot in southern or even central Ontario that has bird numbers like that then you better buy a 649 ticket tonight! That’s how our southern Ontario grouse population was back in the 80’s and early 90’s. The cocky look on the face of the dogs made me smile. I hope they both got Timbits when you got your coffee!
