    Default Pup's first grouse

I was beginning think that a "textbook" grouse was going to elude Leia's first season. But yesterday brought a staunch point, a pinned bird and a retrieve to hand. On an Evil Southern Grouse no less, and all despite the loose nut behind the stock

Congrats! It's no small feat. I can count on my fingers the number of times my dogs pinned ESG.

Awesome way to end a season... It's all about the dog work isn't it, everytime out. Great photos ninepointer. Should be framed and hunt over the fireplace...
