Mid Summer Temagami
This summer I will be taking the family up to my hometown Temagami for 2-4 weeks (Mid July/Mid August) to do some camping at Finlayson but also hopefully some good time on Lake Temagami as well!
Its been a long time since I have fished the lake properly since we moved out in '95 as a kid and was wondering if anyone has any general tips of what might work or what to avoid. I've been on the lake since but just small trips here and there. This will be the first time I go on the lake not in a little 14' tinner with a 25hp but instead an 18ft and 90hp with downriggers.
Would love to do some fishing for lakers but would not shy away from other species.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Downriggers don't see a lot of use on Temagami.
Bottom depths vary too widely.
And watch out for the many shoals which can take out a motor easily.
