I grew up watching Italo and still watch his stuff. What they did was not right but at least he excepted what he did was wrong and carried on. As for Henry it seemed like he just took off running.

Although a very dumb thing to do,they both "fessed up" and dealt with the fallout. Italo still has Canadian Sportfishing which is very well done and Henry has Fishing the Flats in Florida along with being a sales spokesman for Boston Whaler. Both have and are doing quite well. Hopefully,this latest incident with Alpine Carnivore has the same result.

Didn’t the former host Thomas Pigeon from Canada in the rough do something stupid too. I believe he was hunting musk ox illegally as well. Hence why he’s no longer the host.

I remember the crew used snowmachines to access the hunting area which was legal,but,were required to hunt on foot which they didn't do. In western provinces,vehicles are only permitted in most areas for game meat retrieval under very limited circumstances. The media went embellishment nuts with the story. The adverse publicity was brutal. Shortly after,the final nail in the coffin was Pigeon's divorce. It was bridge too far for the producers of CITR. It's my personal favorite show. The Beasley boys rock. Mike Miller is doing a great job with Angler& Hunter TV. For me,A&H runs a close second.

There was more to that than you know, the MNR were actively allowing them to bend the rules. When my cousin was the manager of the Lindsay Tree Farm he was told by his superiors they were coming in and to leave them alone and keep his mouth shut. They were fish a pool of rainbows 2 weeks before the season started, crew were snagging the fish, then hooking the on their lines and filming the fight. This was all kept hush hush. For me, when they finally got charged it was a joke, as the MNR had let them bend the rules previously.

Thomas Pigeon got charged with using ATV to access muskox herds during the filming of a hunt. In NWT (I think it was) you’re only allowed to pursue muskox on foot. Because of this along with the fines and sanctions imposed, he was forced to sell CITR and that’s when the Beasley Brothers took over.
