Province recruiting for wildfire season

As wildfire season begins, the province is adding more firefighting positions and offering payment incentives.
What can I but enumerate old themes,

I got my start with the MNRF, did it for 11 years. It was a great job when fires were burning… not so much when it rained.
During my stint, most of the guys were forestry or fish and wildlife students and there was a waiting list to get hired. Now they will take anyone who can pass the fit test. Not sure why they can’t fill the jobs now.
