    Default Local Source for Flies

    Hi,
I recently came across a place located in Tilsonburg, which makes their own fishing flies. They have a really good selection, at good prices. The site is Reel Flies.

I just ordered 3 different selections of flies - wooly buggers, stonefly nymphs, and muddler minnows. I'll post back after I receive them to let you know how they turn out.

    Cheers,
    Neil

Amazing resource for quality flies. They routinely have sales too.

    Hi,
I received the fly selections several weeks back. I'm really happy with them so far in terms of quality. They're well tied and look really good. One of the best things about the fly selections, is that it works out to about a dollar per fly, and you get a nice basic assortment of colors, as well as a couple of different sizes. They're also willing to supply the flies in certain sizes you specify, provided they already sell the particular fly in your desired size.

I got them for smallmouth fishing, and I think they will also be good for pike and walleye in certain conditions. The smaller ones seem they would be good for crappies as well. I'd like to say I'll use them for trout as well, but trout fishing around my locale is really limited.

    Cheers,
    Neil
