Food banks cant serve wild game if I'm not mistaken,
wish could donate canada geese to our food bank, then be a reason to shoot them.
If they got to seize any of this moose meat would go to the local first nations or the co's freezer.

I feel like the fines and suspensions were light. I would bet these people will reoffend, or ignore any suspensions. How can they be policed 24/7? no one can. Should have given them 1000 hours of community service.

I see that the outfitters lost their moose tags and Bear Management Areas. That’s going to hurt.

Although I m not condoning the offences, I just wanted to point out that although hunting from a power boat is illegal in Ontario, it’s an acceptable practice in the Yukon (as long as the animal isn’t swimming) and other possibly other places.

The judge effectively shuttered their business and took their livelihood (rightfully so IMO). In that respect, I think their punishment was suitably quite severe. They should never be allowed to guide or outfit again. Both the sentence and the consequent reputation destruction should serve to ensure that .
