It's Been Awhile -

Just passing through and thought I'd drop in to say hello - it's been a long time since I landed on this site - stopped going fishing in Ontario when the pandemic hit and haven't gone since - been keeping busy doing things around my property - planted a big garden again and still getting firewood for this coming winter - I keep thinking about going fishing again but have to do some work on my truck camper and boat - haven't started the boat for a couple years so I might have to do some work on it - I'm 90 now but thank God feel pretty good - most of my old friends are all gone -

Had a sad day yesterday - had to put down my cat because she was sick - had her for 11 years - got her when she was a kitten - a domestic long hair - really beautiful cat - got real attached to her and miss her a lot - it is something how attached you can get to an animal -

I guess most of you get the news of what is happening down here - this coming election is going to be a real humdinger - it will really surprise me if Trump doesn't win - our country is really screwed up - I don't even recognize it anymore - sure isn't the country I grew up in - sad -

Well hang in there everybody - and remember the old saying - @#%^&# - I forgot what it was -

Hi Joe. It's great to hear from you. Sorry about your pet. It's weird how they become like one of the kids. We see what's happening in your neck of the woods. We have a really ugly situation brewing up here,too,with our wingnut politicians. Chinese communist and fundamentalist Muslim influence has really taken hold in this country's brand of liberalism. Hopefully,the next election starts to even things out. Keep in touch,Joe,and stay healthy.
