    Didn't see any when camping up near Temagami a month early. Generally see them around the first week of August.

    I did plant 5 Hybrids 2 years ago and should start producing next year. I did set them back a bit by accidentally over fertilizing them.
    They require acidic soil.

    Also planted 3 Haskap (Honey Berry) Plants very similar to blueberries, they ripen in June.
    Had some this year and now the bushes are really growing and I should get close to a quart per plant next year.

    picked some in 47 on the weekend. seemed early to me

    Actually quite a few just south of Sudbury. I was surprised they are ready but decent picking
