Base Ball

I've always like baseball - back in 1957 when I was in the Army stationed at Fort Totten NY - I had the opportunity to see the Yankees play for free - they let service men in for nothing if you wore your uniform - I was there the evening when Mickey Mantle hit a humongous home run - the ball hit top of the roof of Yankee Stadium - the next day in the paper they showed where the ball would have landed if it didn't hit the roof - out in the parking lot - In those days the Yankees had the best teams for years - it's something how I always remember that incident - Mantle would hit 50 homers each year - those were the days -

I like baseball too. I got to play on my son’s team a few weeks ago.
