Lot Of Action
Looking out the kitchen window yesterday saw lot of wildlife - a group of turkeys - two large hens with 8 smaller ones - then later saw a doe with 2 fawns - then later another group of turkeys - a hen with 6 small ones - later a fox that looked like it had mange - I watched it for awhile - it wanted to eat some cat food I had left out for the two cats that hang around my place - the fox really looked sick - real skinny and no long hair -
So I loaded the 12 gauge with BB sized shot - went outside - the fox didn't run away - so I took it out of it's misery - from what I read foxes with mange is pretty common especially in areas where they are in abundance -
It was nice to see the turkeys because for awhile they were pretty scarce - about 10 ago one February day there were 74 turkeys in my yard - the yard looked black from all the birds

Sounds like a great place. Each year is a little different at my place. Years ago we never saw a fox with mange. It seems to be worse in places with warmer winters.
