Saddle hunting safety

To all saddle hunters, please add small prussic loop to your tree tether. Any mechanical devise such as the Ropeman pictured is prone to failure and should be backed up. The Ropeman 'tends' the loop for one handed upwards motions but requires two handed downward motions.

In my case my little finger get jammed up inside the clamp and released it momentarily, even though the clamp functioned as designed something can happen and a backup is always the best option.
