I have seen a Tepee made of canvas tarps built not out of Poly or 6 mil. I'm not sure if the plastic would react with the smoke.

In the past,we've used Army surplus bell tents with a small wood stove in them that worked very well.
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

IMO there are better/more comfortable ways to camp. Assuming that you require shelter in a very remote area without roads, I would opt for a canvas tent with a small high-quality woodstove.

Definitely better options for back country hunts. I run a 4 man silnylon teepee with a folding titanium stove or a 2 man teepee with the stove when I'm by myself.
I hunt with camp on my back and having the ability to warm up in a tent after a cold miserable day is worth the work to carry it around.
