    Default Cold late afternoon coyote

Driving home from work the conditions for a coyote set looked good. When I got home I checked the wind, grabbed my gear and off I went. Got to the farm and all setup by 4:45.... It was a bit loud walking in the valley so I waited about 20 minutes to let things settle down before starting my caller.
It was cold out (-15C=5F) so I played a quiet dying rabbit sound, knowing the sound would travel through this valley area pretty good. I played this quiet sounding dying rabbit for about 4 minutes before I went silent.
I was silent for about 2 minutes before seeing this coyote crest the hill and make its way to the spinning decoy. She casually walked in allowing me to wolf her at about the 50 yd mark. She dropped in her tracks....

What are you doing with the pelts? Buddy just had his returned from the trade house because there's too many to get rid of. They already told him last fall not to send them, but,he sent them anyway. I haven't quite got the whole story ,yet, but, some folks don't listen.
