OFAH membership-major changes

Used to be able to buy 3 years.No more-only 1 year option available.
Used to be able not to request magazine(cheaper membership-and why throw papers in garbage?)
NONE of the above is available anymore?

Only 1 year -and if deny magazine-no discount?


Can someone shed lights on this?

I let mine expire after they doubled the price of basic E-magazine.

its $26/yr including insurance. You can choose the print mag, digital or both. Yes all the same price, but seems like one of the things that is still reasonably priced these days. I would like a 3 year option just for less need to remember, but you could always look into a lifetime membership.
I've cancelled subscriptions to everything I can, with the exception of the OFAH magazine and Fur Fish Game. Still enjoy reading them as they are quality publications with lots of variety.

I believe that is the option i had too-and lasted me 3 years .NO MORE.

I am not sure if it would be OK (by them)to just present it here....so take my Coles notes as a summary,with some of my comments.


No more separation of editions due of "offering"more and better experience,and due of high demand for digital content ,and offering many personalized options,like stream-community etc.........there will be no more options to choose from.
Due of above-the new membership is restructured AND only 1 year option available.

Very "politically"correct wordings in the reply...........presenting cold and hard decisions.

My comments-lack of understanding members needs ,lack of flexibility ............

Seems OFAH dropped the 3‑year deal and the cheaper no‑magazine option—now it’s only a 1‑year membership at full price. You could send them a quick email to ask if they’ll bring back any discounts or a digital‑only option.

Where are you getting that price FishHog. My bill for the next one year is $59.95
