Back years ago I had and trained retrievers. They were a pleasure to hunt over as well. One dog in particular was a duel champion at 2 1/2 years of age and when hunting him he was a demon, be it upland birds, or waterfowl. There was no quit in the dog, yet when in the house or out in the kennel like yours he’d turn the switch off.
