Citizens for Crown Land Protection vs Haliburton Highlands Land Trust (HHLT)
An attempt to limit or close the use of thousands of acres of crown land in Haliburton Highlands by a self interest group with their own agenda. Any group or person that uses the land from near Minden in the west to Paudash in the east should be aware of what could happen. Be informed. Google both organizations to find out more.

It appears that they're attempting a link up between Kawartha Highlands PP and Queen Elizabeth Park. This is what led to the creation of Kawartha Highlands. These do-gooder "friends of" outfits need to be stopped cold in their tracks.

And

"A growing body of scientific research has shown that half of the planet must be kept in a natural state to address the dual crises of climate change and biodiversity loss, with an interim goal of a minimum of 30% protection by 2030, it added."

Facebook drives Haliburton Highlands misinformation
https://oodmag.com/facebook-drives-h...isinformation/
The Haliburton Highlands Land Trust (HHLT) is working to protect a 100,000-hectare wildlife corridor, but the project has faced inaccuracies.
What can I but enumerate old themes,
First that sea-rider Oisin led by the nose
Through three enchanted islands, allegorical dreams,
Vain gaiety, vain battle, vain repose,
Themes of the embittered heart, or so it seems.

Very interesting how social media can send the wrong message.

Yeh thats like being on here and only getting Conservative party views because Liberals like me are censored of this forum in relation to off topic and politicts. Funny how that works out.

Hard to call it censoring when you delete your own threads. In any case you'll find as always posts that follow the agreed upon forum community rules are always welcomed

If the Haliburton County council meeting in 2021 is googled one will see what the HHLT was up to and how they planned to achieve their goal of having control of thousands of acres of crown land. The OFAH SUPPORTED THIS GROUP. Well minds not as gullible as those at OFAH defeated this attempt to neuter the public taxpayers that live, work and play in the Haliburton Highlands.
