I think we all might be just an old bunch of guys/gals still looking for the newspaper at the end of our driveways. I think everything is fine reading around here, especially this time of year.

Forums such as this are dying a slow death. It was once the best way to interact with others that had similar interests, but isn't any more. I belong to some FB groups specific to hunting in Ontario (moose - 26,000 members, deer - 45,000 members, turkey - 16,000) and there is always more activity happening on them, I'm sure because of their ease of use. Much like Kijiji was the king of buying and selling 20 years ago, I have found that it has been overtaken by FB Marketplace, which has become my go-to when buying or selling.

It feels like the Hunting Section has been pretty quiet lately—maybe it’s just this part of the year. Hopefully we’ll see more activity soon
